Infrared portrait of my sister taken in 1979 It was done with B&W infrared film using a 35mm camera & a red filter. It was very grainy but I loved the final results. It made everyone look great, hid all the imperfections.

The first thing that caught my eye, was the highlighted area there on here sleeve and chest. It almost says that she has an inner glow about her. Very good photo...once again you prove that when it comes to people photography, you are tops!! She looks a lot like you as well.
It is different from a normal B/W. True infrared would be a very expensive camera to capture heat being emitted. So this is an editing tool that does a facsimile of infrared. It does have that feeling of radiating warmth. I like it! mark
I would have never guessed that was a red filter. It's lovely. You can definitely tell though that it is the seventies. I had that same hair style. lol. Love ya, Shelly
